Customs Readiness Doctor helps Shopify merchants identify product catalog data gaps that may affect customs and international shipping workflows.

Data we process

The app may process and store:

• shop domain and Shopify session data,
• product IDs, titles, handles, status, vendor, product type, category, and image presence,
• variant IDs, variant titles, SKU, barcode, and image references,
• inventory item IDs, HS codes, country of origin, shipping requirement, and shipping weight,
• scan status, issue rows, ignored issue fingerprints, and scan summary counts,
• email address entered by the merchant for scheduled scan summaries.

The app does not request or store customer data, order data, payment data, or storefront visitor data in v1.

How we use data

We use this data to run catalog scans, show issue rows, generate CSV exports, track scan history, manage ignored issues, and send scheduled scan summaries when configured.

Retention and deletion

The app keeps recent scan history only. When the app is uninstalled or Shopify sends a shop redact request, shop data is deleted according to the app's privacy webhook handling.

Important limits

Customs Readiness Doctor does not calculate duties or guarantee compliance. Merchants remain responsible for product data accuracy and customs decisions.
